How we work.
Why it matters.

Transparent pricing. Expert diagnosis. Solutions you choose. Every call. No exceptions.

Most companies meet you at your worst moment.

Your AC breaks. You Google "HVAC repair Phoenix." Suddenly you're one of fifteen companies competing for your job. You're stressed, they're pitching, and the whole thing comes down to who quotes a couple hundred dollars less. That's the industry standard. We built our process specifically to be different from it.

01

You see prices first.

We publish Repair price ranges for common symptoms on our pricing page. Before you book, you already know what to expect. No sticker shock. No games.

"My toilet won't stop running."

  • Handle / flapper issue $149–189
  • Fill valve replacement $225–275
  • Flush valve replacement $275–325

Not sure which one? That's what the diagnostic is for.

$69

Our diagnostic fee covers more than confirming the problem. Your tech assesses the root cause and presents solutions that could save you money or improve your comfort long-term.

Applied to any work you approve. The diagnostic isn't a free estimate that leads to a sales pitch — it's a paid service that delivers real expertise.

02

Full diagnostic. Every component. Documented.

Every job type has a standardized diagnostic checklist. Your tech runs it — every time, no exceptions. Not an eyeball. Not a guess. A documented assessment of every component in the system, with a clear status for each one.

Red — Broken

Non-functional, safety hazard, or code issue. This is what you called about — and it feeds the Repair solution.

Yellow — Watch It

Off-spec but still functional. Likely to fail within months. Feeds the Rebuild solution — so you're not calling us back in six months.

Green — Good

Within spec. No action needed. You see it on the checklist so you know we checked.

Example: Toilet diagnostic

Fill Valve
BROKEN Not holding pressure. Constant running.
Flush Valve
WEARING Mineral buildup visible. ~6 months to failure.
Supply Line
GOOD Braided steel. No corrosion. Recently replaced.
Wax Ring / Base
GOOD No movement. No moisture detected.
03

Solutions. Not a sales pitch.

The checklist drives the solutions — not the tech's instincts or a sales script. Your tech walks you through what they found and what each solution gets you. Then you choose.

Repair

Fix the immediate issue

Fixes the red items — what you called about. Gets you back to normal.

Best when: You want the problem solved, full stop.

Rebuild

Fix it + prevent the next failure

Addresses red and yellow items. Handles what's broken and what's about to be.

Best when: Yellow items on the checklist suggest a second failure is coming.

Replace

New unit, fresh start

Full fixture or system replacement. New warranty. New timeline.

Best when: Age or repair cost makes replacement the better long-term value.

Refresh

Address the root cause

Replacement plus treating whatever caused the failure — water quality, air quality, pressure issues.

Best when: A root cause was identified that will cause recurrence without treatment.

What this sounds like in practice

"Here's what I found. Your fill valve is shot — that's the Red, that's what you called about. But I also found your flush valve is showing wear — that's Yellow. Given this toilet is 15 years old, here are your solutions:

  • Repair: $249 — fixes today's problem
  • Rebuild: $385 — handles both valves, buys you another 5+ years
  • Replace: $650 — new toilet, new everything, 10-year outlook
  • Refresh: $1,100 — new toilet plus water treatment to prevent the mineral buildup that caused this

I'm not here to push you. This is what I found, these are your solutions, and here's what each one gets you."

Our techs are expert advisors. Not salespeople.

We don't compensate our techs based on what you approve. They run the checklist, present the findings, and walk you through your options. What you decide is your call. That's how we stand behind our work — because we're not guessing, and we're not selling. We're documenting.

04

You decide. We execute.

Four solutions, every price shown before you say yes, no haggling. Our price is our price — it includes the expertise, the process, the documentation, and the accountability. You're not paying for mystery. You're paying for honesty.

The price is already fair.

We publish our rates because we've done the math and we stand behind them. We don't size you up to figure out what to charge. The number is the number.

No pressure. No callbacks.

We present your solutions and let you think. We're not going to follow up three times hoping you change your mind. You choose when you're ready.

Shown on the tablet, not just verbal.

Your solutions and prices are presented on-screen, not just spoken. You have a record. We have a record. Everyone's on the same page.

Your home has a file with us now.

After every job, your service history, equipment condition, and findings are on file. You're not starting from scratch next time. We already know your home.

Equipment profile & service history

We log the age, condition, and service history of every covered system in your home. When you call next time, we already know what you have and what we've done.

Tamper-evident documentation

At every inspection, your tech photographs covered equipment and applies tamper-evident tape. This protects your credits — and creates a clear record of every recommendation we've made.

Credits accruing in two pools

Your DeGeorge Home account starts building credits in your Water Systems and HVAC pools from the day you sign up. When you need a replacement, the credits are already there. Learn about DeGeorge Home →

One number for everything

Plumbing, HVAC, water treatment. We handle it all. Next time something comes up, you're not Googling for someone new. You call us — and we already know your home.
